In these dark and gloomy days
While its pouring outside I have tears in my eyes
Most of them think its somewhat natural to rain now
But less know the reason behind it ..
But I have only one question ..
Why does it rain now?

This day was supposed to be
Bright and filled with warmth
Instead of this bitter cold and swarth
With this numbness hanging in the air
It doesn’t feel like the dampness of the first rain
for rain was supposed to bring bliss
not this !
I just ask why does it rain now ?
This strange hymn that it brings
reminds me of a
melancholy refrain
even the whiff of soil is not the same
is it due to the toxins that it bears ?
oh I wish I could go back in time
When the rain was the eternal sunshine
But Is it now a sign that everything's
not gonna be fine?
What can I do but sit here and sigh
It is raining now ..
